Robert Rodat to make the World of warcraft screenplay

Sam Raimi talked with MTV News about his upcoming World of warcraft film, and while he didn't validate (or refuse, we guess) the whole subtitle factor, he did talk about a new author. John Rodat appear to be placing a movie script together -- he's best known for composing Preserving Personal He (and of course if we can get a World of warcraft film as fantastic as that Spielbergian awesome, we'll all be happy), and he's also consisting Fly Away Home and The Patriot.

Most lately, says his Wikipedia web page, he did some perform on 10,000 B.C., though if you saw that film, you probably wouldn't be able to tell, anyway -- it was dreadful.

Raimi says he wants to remain true "to the Group and the Partnership and the myth that happens in the encounter," as well as "choose one or some of the areas that are represented in the encounter with as much precision and validity as possible." He phone calls Rodat an outstanding personality author, and says an outstanding character-based tale within the planet of Azeroth is his objective. Seems to be fantastic.

The image above is the only art we've ever seen of the film (it was provided at BlizzCon a few decades ago), WOW Gold but since then, it seems like the film has modified quite a bit, so we'll have to delay and see what Rodat and Raimi are arriving up with.
